Senior sendoff, officer elections, and a new CD!
Thanks to you, our Spring Concert was a huge success! The ballrooms were PACKED full of people, and it was a great audience to perform for-- our fans are the reason we do what we do, so thanks to everyone who came!

It was also the last concert for our three seniors. After spending their entire college careers in All-Night Yahtzee, Sarah Lawrence, Tyler Hardee, and Travis Smith have graduated and moved into the 'alumni' column. Their talent and wit will be missed, and we'll be hard pressed to replace them next year.

Speaking of which, recently we held officer elections for the 09-10 school year. The exec board will be:

Music Director/Webmaster: Dave Girtman
Business Manager: Katherine Dew
Treasurer/Travel Chair: Amanda Fordham
Secretary: Kameri Kirchmyer

Rounding out the officers as CD Chair and Historian will be Elizabeth Zombo and Chris Mora, respectively.

And did we mention we're recording a new CD? We're hard at work on a new EP due to be released this fall. The track list, in alphabetical order:

Hallelujah- Paramore
Lithium- Evanescence
Lollipop- Lil Wayne/Framing Hanley
Realize- Colbie Caillat
To Show You My Love- Mike Schmid
You Found Me- The Fray

That does it for us-- check back in August for details about fall auditions. Have a great summer!
What a week-- Yahtzee wins SpringSing!
Just two nights after opening for Ben Folds in Orlando, All-Night Yahtzee competed in the first annual SpringSing competition in Athens, GA. The event is put on by Team Burns, and is a benefit for the American Cancer Society. We were really excited to be a part of such a great cause!

We competed against four other groups (Noteworthy and With Someone Else's Money from UGA, and the Symp Vibes and Infinite Harmony from Georgia Tech), and after show-stopping performances by Blue Jupiter and Business as Usual, Music Director Dave Girtman took home the award for Best Arrangement (for "Lithium"), and the group took first place! Noteworthy took second, and With Someone Else's Money rounded out the top 3.

Thanks to Team Burns and the UGA Accidentals for putting on a fantastic show!
What was it like opening for Ben Folds?

In a word? Awesome.
The AcaBelles to represent FSU at ICCA International Finals!
After incredible performances in both the Quarter- and Semi-Final rounds, we are very excited that our sister group The AcaBelles has been named the South champion and will be competing in the ICCA International Finals in New York City!

All-Night Yahtzee has competed in the final round for the last three years (leading us to take the year off from competing), so we're stoked that The AcaBelles are representing FSU with such style.

If you're in the NYC area this April, definitely go to the final-- it's the six best groups from the competition, and a night of music you won't want to miss.
All-Night Yahtzee nominated for a CARA!
We're very excited to announce that All-Night Yahtzee has been nominated for a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award! The nod comes for Christopher Diaz's arrangement of Ben Folds Five's "Missing the War," which can be found on our newest CD, "17."

Congratulations to Christopher and the rest of All-Night Yahtzee! For a full list of nominees, look here.
17 is here!
